A planned water shutdown affecting Spallumcheen’s Silver Star Water Area has been postponed.
The Township announced Oct. 5 that work on the water main serving the Silver Star Water Area within the North Local Area Service has been delayed until further notice.
The work is part of the Reservoir Expansion Project and had been expected to require a temporary interruption in water service.
The associated precautionary boil-water advisory was also delayed with the work.
The Township has not announced a replacement date and says it will provide an update when more information is available.
Residents in the affected area should watch for a new notice before the work is rescheduled.
